Marco is going to the home depot. Surviving.

I want to have vegetables. I don´t trust what will happen in the world after the virus.
All my life I have seen that the goods in the world are not shared equally between the rich and the poor. And although I have cared for them up to a certain point, I cannot feel as if their problems are my own because I have never been hungry.
Now, with the corona virus, for the first time in my life I feel that we are all in the same boat. And we must do what we can to survive.
Marco is now going to the home depot to buy some things to make greenhouses (however small) to have some veggies.
I have meat for a while but veggies are not as easy to keep.
Are you doing any special things to weather the situation?

It's good that you are planning in advance and better to be safe. Am not doing it to be honest

That`s a good idea. I can`t do planting because I don`t have a garden. I just buy from the supermarket the frozen vegetables or fresh ones

@m_audrey6788 I am trying to discover where can I plant. Away from Luna AND a sunny place.

I know what you mean - the whole world is now truly connected! I hope Marco was able to get those veggies. We're all stocked up but with veggies being perishable, we'll soon need more.
I'm busy catching up on some of my online tasks that are lagging behind.

@marguicha Wow, that's fantastic! Good for you guys. I wish we had space where we live to grow our own veggies.

Today husband stepped out and got some veggies and fruits to go for a week or more.
My garden has no more produce. All are harvested and many pots are empty. I have no more seeds left to plant.

Now it is better to buy seeds than to get veggies.

@marguicha Due to lockdown, only essential things are available. I am not finding any online stores that will deliver them during this lockdown.

I am waiting about one week to plant, although I know some who have small harvests already. It is best here to wait until after April 15. We can still have some cold weather, and maybe a frost in early April.

Normally I should wait for months. But I will see what I can do.

I like the photo and it is the clearest one I have seen of you . I laughed because at first I thought you had a big pair of fluffy green slippers on!
Yes it is good to grow your own vegetables but here all those kinds of shops have closed down so we could not buy it if we wanted to.

A nice picture, thankyou Marco! We needed canned goods, so Jay bought some things to fill our cabinets. We have never gone without food, unless we chose to.

We're doing the same. We're planting more vegetables. So far the leafy ones are the easiest to grow.

With leafy veggies and grains and some meat you have everything.
