A Very Special Day

And not because it's Star Wars Day, but because it's my baby brother's birthday. We're ten years apart. He's 57 today, which means in a couple of months, I'll be 67.
That's us in the picture.
I sent a message on FB this morning to find out if he would be home and if he could have company. The answer was yes to both. My sister-in-law works from home while my brother is in his fourth week of unemployment.
He's been very busy cutting down a tree that was in his front yard. Now it's cut up chunks of wood that will be in his fireplace or campfire when they can go camping again.
We had a good visit at his home this afternoon. He lives about a half-hour from my home.
I saw gas prices continue to climb. They were still reasonable where he lives, almost .20 less, so I filled up on my way home.
That was my excitement for the day. Did you do anything exciting? The image is me and my brother.

Our gas is starting to go up too. BP on Sunday or last week was 1.35 it so and everywhere else was ten cents more. I forgot to get it then and now it's up to 1.69 there and 1.75 elsewhere. I'll get it before I head out shopping later today.
You look like a twin with your brother. We're not able to visit with family here just yet are you not on lockdown there?
My youngest sister is also ten years younger than me but we have a year on you and your brother. She will be 58 on may tenth while I'll be 68 in July. What month is your birthday, Valerie?

@just4him that's interesting and weird that we both have siblings ten years younger and their birthdays are in May and yours and mine in July. I don't remember see you there oldest sibling or maybe there were only the two of you?

@MarshaMusselman There's four of us, or were. My brother next to me in age passed a few years ago. My sister is three years younger and then my youngest brother.
Mine is the 19th. When is yours?

I'm glad you were both able to see each other and had a good time!
I mainly did homework a bit a of study today. But it was worth it as I finished all my homework and can go to bed early instead of being up all night trying to finish it.

I never knew there was a Star Wars Day. That is so cool. Happy Birthday to your brother. You look so cute together. Congrats early on your birthday. I will be 70 in August. Are you guys close? I sat out on the porch in the morning and got sun and good thing I did because the rain came this afternoon.

That does sound exciting. You and brother look almost like twins. My sis and I have nearly identical voices but we really look nothing alike.

I noticed that too on the picture. Without our hats, you might see I'm slightly taller than him, but only slightly.
