I scored some toilet paper!

It is not the brand I use (Quilted Northern) but it will have to do.
Better to have Charmin then be left with nothing.
It was an 18-mega roll pack.
With tax it came out to $22.31.
I never paid that much for toilet paper before.
I wonder if this price is a usual price for this toilet paper or if it's this high because price went up.
While at the supermarket, I also wanted to get some Bounty paper towels for my mom.
They were out of stock.
They were stocked the last time I was there.
Lesson learned.
If you see it, buy it, even if you still have it, because then it may not be available and you are screwed.

@porwest haha. I never counted price per square foot or per sheet. Only per roll.

@lovebuglena There was a time when I did not have a specific brand. I would stand in the aisle calculating sqaure feet and price per square foot and buy the absolute cheapest I could get. But again, having bits left in uncomfortable places too often led me to not do that anymore and just pick something both my wife and I could agree on. It was Cottonelle and that was that. lol

We still have some toilet paper but as it is usually not in stock when we go shopping we took advantage and bought it. If you wait till you are out to go buy you may be left with nothing to wipe your butt.

I am good for both currently. Stores seem to have more of these in weeks past, but you can't find them everywhere, that is for sure. What I would like to score is hand sanitizer!

It'd be nice to know when a store gets its shipment of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. so you can get there before it's sold out.

Good that you don't run out of stuff in stores or that they keep restocking on a regular basis.

You guys are lucky. Doesn't seem that way here in NYC but maybe it's just that once it hits the shelves it goes quick.

@JohnRoberts That's good. But it's not just about hoarding. It's about whether the store gets their deliveries.

Hubs scored some toilet paper too...a 12-roll pack. He was able to get everything but one on his list. That's right. Buy it when it's there because it may not be there the next time!

I have heard so many places being out of it that I wouldn’t doubt if they are raising the price on it. Charmin is always a lot more then I’d be willing to pay but yep better then nothing at all right now. I bought some at aldis the last time I was there which I’ve never bought before. I hate it!

We have doubled up on lots of purchases in case the items aren't there next time.

Guess we got lucky.
