How often do you do dishes?

My goal is to have all the dishes done before going to bed. However, sometimes, I am so tired at night that I leave them till morning. I try to wash dishes as they get dirty but that doesn't always happen. I also like to wash a few of them when I wash my hands, so I am actually accomplishing two things with the soap and water. Apparently I didn't do any dishes yet today and it is now 7:00 pm. I didn't eat much today because we had an odd schedule with the senior comprehensive exam presentations, and then meeting with our panel to grade them. Even with not eating much, I seem to have produced a lot of dishes, plus today I cooked rice so also need to wash the rice cooker. How often do you do dishes?

I'm lucky, as we have a dishwasher. So, I will use it for dishes and cups and such. The pots and pans we will wash them by hand.

Oh, yes, dishwashers! Japanese kitchens are pretty small, no space for a dishwasher. I am the dishwasher.

I try not to leave them in the sink and load them into the dishwasher right away. I run it at least once a day.

I do it at least twice a day or each time something gets dirty. I do not like dirty dishes piling in my sink.

I have a portable dishwasher. I try to unload and load it at least once a day. Sometimes twice, if I use big pans and such. Sometimes I do not do them at all.

I don't like them either but with online teaching I have to go to teach a class right after lunch. When I have actual school, I wash the container I brought lunch in so there are no dirty dishes to take home.

After the coronavirus, we don't go out to have a meal. I only had a meal once several weeks ago. Hard to believe that during these four months, we cook everyday. And it is not a very big problem since I like cooking. I make many new dishes and that's a nice experience. Of course I count on the machine most of the time since it will save time and it can work better

There are two of us so I run the dish-washer every second day and wash up odd things (heavy pots, etc) in between times. I rarely have anything sitting in the sink except perhaps a coffee cup or two.
