Dang it! I have the stomach flu. Even have a temperature.

My stomach hasn't been right for several days. I'll spare you the details of the symptoms, but suffice it to say I'm not puking, and that it gives new meaning to Johnny Cash's song, Ring of Fire.
I even have a temperature to go with it. My thermometer was cursed by a certain MyLot member's pet gremlins, and it only reads in Celsius. Fortunately I was able to use F = 9/5 C + 32 to determine that it was just above 100 F.
I woke up soaked in sweat this morning but felt much better and managed to get my taxes almost done at my friend's office. I thought I was out of the woods, but not yet.
Wish me luck!

I wondered about that when I read this discussion starter.

@DaddyEvil This virus is a sneaky little thing. Symptoms seem to differ massively for different people.
If my wife has had it then I've had it and I've had no symptoms at all.

Over 37 C it is fever. 38 and more is something you don“t want to have. Call a doctor.

@TheHorse It is fever, but not too much. Still, it means that you are ill

It may be just a bug, but it could be corona. Please call your doctor tomorrow and don't assume anything during this mess. Your myLot buds need you. I'll be praying for you.

@TheHorse The thing is, there are so many different symptoms that you really can't rule out anything. There's always a new symptom we haven't heard of.

@1creekgirl I called the Advice Nurse this morning, and she said it sounded like Ebola. But she ruled that out when I told her I hadn't visited any paces where that most often occurs.

@amitkokiladitya I always do my best. Sort of. I worked for 20 years helping poor people in a dangerous neighborhood. But I'm still here.

Stomach flu is annoying that you have to go to the bathroom every once in a while.

I had that last week and it's not fun. No, this isn't COVID-19, I spent a lot of time showering and changing my clothes. I hope you're doing better today, for me it took about a week.

@kobesbuddy I am thankful to hear that. I DID call the advice nurse today. She said it sounded more like Ebola, but I haven't been to any places where one tends to come up with that.

@TheHorse As long as I stayed home, everything kept getting better. COVID-19? No, not even close!
