Still not getting anywhere with my dongle. In case you're wondering what it is:
It's a device that lets you "mirror" what's on your computer to the big screen on your TV.

I just use my HDMI cable to connect my computer to the TV although a dongle sounds much easier. Do you need to pair the dongle with your computer first to be able to connect it with the TV screen? Maybe you tube can provide an answer for your issue?

My issue is getting the dongle connected to the internet. When I connect it, it knocks my PC off the net.

I have a smart TV as well; but it takes too long to type in things with the mouse. I ended up not being able to program the dongle and now just have an HDMI cable connected. It works very well.
