I'm glad they finally opened the pool here. I've been swimming the last couple of days (it's been in the 80s F) and will be in the 90s later today. Right now (Noon) it's 83. I may cycle a bit while it's still "cool," and then hit the pool in the late afternoon. Horse Jr.'s mom, who is quite controlling, wouldn't let him swim when it was in the 80s. But she told me Monday that she'd allow him to swim today, if it hit the 90s as predicted. What are you up today? How's the weather where you live?

Right now our weather is comfortably in the 70's after being in the 80's and humid the week before. Makes sense as I put up the a/c on Sunday Come next week it will be upper 80's to low 90's so the heat will be on!
The pool sounds nice, it beats a bunch of fans

Even as I type this I’m on the patio at Mark’s Feed Store, enjoying barbecue chicken sammiches. Wednesday tournament later.
And I figured you know Dire Straits’ “Twisting By the Pool,” so.....

@freelancermariagrace Sime MyLot members in the Philippines have mentioned rain. Have you had some already?

We had our first dry day in about two weeks. I finally got to mow the yard. It has been a bit warm, but that's okay. (Our warm is 65 degrees.) Looking forward to a couple of dry days, then the rain might return on Saturday. I need to paint a couple of outside walls. Not looking forward to that.

@TheHorse You know, I have not looked into that. The way it rains here, one feels they have to jump on any opportunity. But it is a question that I think would be good to have an answer to. I know that we have to wait until temps get above the mid 50's but even that is difficult here sometimes.

@TheHorse According to what comes up, I only need to wait only one day but must make certain there is no water on the surface of the wall. Thanks for the suggestion. Yesterday was dry so, I guess I drag the painting stuff out and go to work. sigh, I hate painting walls by hand.

It has to be 85 or higher for a few days in a row or it’s too cold for me. That’s great that she’s letting him swim today.

It's gradually warming up each day and the humidity is rising. Should be 90 by the weekend.

80s can be quite warm. I hope it's covid safe for pool time, but I am glad you can get it. I kinda wanna be floating in a pool myself

We do not have the luxury. If we want to swim then we have to use the portable plastic pool.

@TheHorse our foldable pool fits the porch. That's where we set it up. But it is not easy because the pool has to be inflated then filled with water that takes more than 2 hours.

@Alexandoy How deep is it? I've seen some pretty big above-ground pools.
