June 25 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Instead of waiting until later, I'm going to let you in on what I'm thankful for today a little earlier.
I'm thankful for the near seven hours of sleep I got last night. It was awesome. I did go to bed later last night since I'm not going to the pool yet, so sleeping in until 5:30 was great. However, it felt like it put me way behind.
I'm thankful for the energy I've had all day to get food made, guacamole, and apple crunch. Both are delicious and I had them for breakfast with my usual breakfast. It might be why I'm not hungry yet when it's going on 4 PM. I did take salmon out of the freezer for supper, so I've at least decided what I'll eat when I am hungry.
I'm thankful I'm finished with the notifications. I've had a great day here interacting with you.
I'm thankful for fitness goals. I achieved my 10K step goal by 8 AM and I have two hourly step goals yet to do. Right now, I'm well over 14K steps.

I love salmon so much!
Today, I am thankful my doctor visit was so quick. Because of social distancing they got everyone in and out of the office as fast as they could. That was a great relief. I have been to other doctors during the outbreak, but this place was very cautious. They made us have both a mask and gloves on before we even set foot inside. Luckily, they had gloves to give me.

I'm thankful that our humidity has been super low outside, despite the heat. Normally at this time of year the combination of heat and humidity has made it all but impossible to do anything fun outside. But because of the low humidity we've had the past week or so, it's been somewhat tolerable outside. I've been able to get in runs everyday between 3-5 miles. I would never be able to do that under normal circumstances at this time of year. So I'm very thankful that I've been able to get in those good, long runs.
