When being old is a good idea.

I am old. I don´t know when I got the title. It went from young to middle aged (disturbing) and suddenly I became an old lady. I think that at first it had to do how I looked at myself. Now I don´t even ask. But there are good things attached to old age, specially when you have some money in your pockets. I lent (gave) most of the money I inherited from my mother to my daughters. They were doing some investments and the COVID changed it all. But I have still some money and I decided that they would pay me only the interests of the loan. On the other hand, I spend a lot less now that Leticia is not with me. Eveen if I give her some big presents from time to time, it is much less than what I would spend with her working here. This is just to tell you that I am spending a lot of money in being comfortable. I want to live well the present and that means money. Although I will not buy clothes to be alone here, I will spend on heating during the winter. I cannot afford to get ill as there are no hospitals to go to. All the money that I will save on Leticia´s wages (minus big presents and money if needed) and the money saved on airfare to Aruba will be spent on gas, delicious cheeses and other luxuries. I call them, the luxuries of the old people. I´ll make my calls now (I´m spending on phone calls if needed) and then I´ll mylot. See you.
