Has Corona Virus changed your shopping habits ?

Until recently I have been able to go shopping most days if I needed to as I work a two minute walk from the centre of town and have to go into the town centre to catch my bus home anyway . However , since the Corona Virus lurked its ugly head I have changed the way that I do my shopping. I now go out once a week when Rod and myself do the weekly shopping for my parents as well as for us. I am only at work now two days a week and as I do not drive I have the choice of catching the bus ….which I am not yet ready to do … or have a lift. We are buying a house so I am spending a fair bit of time on Amazon buying items for the house and I have got most of the things on my list. Have the events of recent months changed the way you do your shopping ?

It certainly has. I've been shopping more and more online and having things delivered. I've also been having home delivery of groceries or taking advantage of curbside pickup when it's available. I haven't stepped foot in a store since the whole virus thing started. Congratulations on your new house. It's so much fun buying things

It has cahnged a lot and we seldom go out to do that anymore. We usually rely online shopping nowadays because cases in my place looks dangerously high still and going out is just not that practical.

I've always preferred to do my main shop online so that hasn't changed. We have a shop in our street so we'll use that to buy odds and ends as needed. The only thing that's really changed is that I would sometimes pick up fruit or other bits during my lunch break/on my way home. As I am working from home now, we rarely go anywhere to get shopping. I think it must be a couple of months since I even went into town.

Yes, I'm shopping differently now. I don't go to Walmart as often and I do buy more things on line. There's not much point in going to my favorite clothing stores because we can't try anything on.

We shopped less often during the worst period but we never went shopping too often anyway. I buy in bulk for some items and buy specials when they turn up.

I only shop when it's absolutely necessary and try to stay in a shop as little time as possible and I try to avoid spots where there are lots of people.

We certainly go shopping less frequently and each shopping trip results in a higher total because of that.

for me its not too changed. But my sister does. Its hard for her to buy the daily and others stuff straight to the market, so she oftenly using ecommerce to buy stuffs now, the good things is theres a lot of discount too
