Just a quick hello before I go to the doctor!

I just want to pop in and see how everyone is doing on this beautiful Tuesday. I have finished my notifications for right now and drinking my second mug of coffee. Then I will have to get a shower and get ready for daughter who will be here by 10 to pick me up and take me to my doctors appointment.
I have to see my cardiologist today so he can check the loop recorder I have implanted in my boob. This device monitors my heart and sends the results to my doctor, so he can see how my heart works.. They put it in after I got AFib after my Open Heart Surgery in 2017. I wish they would take it out, but it has to stay there for 3 years and it won't be 3 yrs until Dec.
I guess I better get going it takes me a while in the shower, lol. If I have time afterwards I will do some reading before daughter gets here. Have a wonderful day, evening or night

Good Morning. What a beautiful image you've picked out there. I hope the appointment goes well, and I do not blame you for wanting the device out. I do not like that women are more likely to have heart problems. Heart problems run in my family, so I am trying to be mindful now.

@gr8nana6 Ah I see. I'd never heard of that. i don't see why you have to wait that long, but what do I know? I'm not a doctor!

@gr8nana6 Right, it's so odd. I know my aunt had to have a temporary device, but I think it was something put over her heart with electrodes. I would have been so worried having something like that on me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I know, when they put it in they did tell me the will take it out after 3 yrs, never said anything about the battery

Yes mine does too, it gets downloaded from the device to a machine next to my bed, then it gets sent to the doctor. Thank you for visiting and have a great friday
