1932 - The Dow Jones Industrial Average reaches its lowest level of the Great Depression, closing at 41.22.
1958 - Kevin Bacon is born. He is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his role in Footloose (1984). Some of his other movies include JFK, A Few Good Men, Apollo 13, Mystic River, Tremors, Flatliners and Patriots Day.

@LindaOHio Me too but only my coffee ice cream, I do like banana splits and will get the vanilla ice cream for that.

Kevin Bacon has had quite a film/TV career hasn't he? The most recent series I saw him in was The Following, a serial killer series with him as the lead detective. Highly recommend seeing that one!
