I am not good with selfies, but here is a fresh picture of me. No styling, no makeup. I just wanted you to see me as a red head. Of course it has been a year since I got my hair cut. Corona, oh you make us do strange things.

@marguicha I have cut mine before. One time I cut it very short, at two in the morning. My husband was an over the road truck driver. When he came home he spent a minute or two evening it up, but it was fine.

I have done an amla conditioning mask a couple of times. It does not really change it, but seems to deepen it. I need to put on some makeup and do better selfies.

@much2say I was trying direct across. Above stretches out the wrinkles and double chin if you will do it. Makes you look flirty too, in my opinion.

@GardenGerty The color really does look good on you. I heard one tip that taking the shot from above is better than from below - more "youthful" apparently? I don't know - I'll have to play around with that too.

I can't find my box of hair dye. It's making me crazy! I wanted to try the color now before anybody but my son sees it. (He doesn't notice when I change it, lol.) I wanted to see if I could make it the strawberry blond color of my youth. Not that it would make me look like a youth! I like that hair color you chose. It suits you.

With the henna you basically get what you get, unless you learn to modify it. I hope you find your hair dye.

Red hair runs in our family, we have 7 nieces and nephews with red hair. Mike's was strawberry blond when he was a boy, his sister was a red head. Now they are both gray

Red seems to actually go gray fast. Commercial red dye washes out or dulls out fast. Henna does not seem to have that problem.
