Blueberry Muffins to Start Off the Day!

I was up before daybreak this morning and hubby even managed to get up before 8 am, so I whipped up some blueberry muffins to go along with our coffee.
Today is supposed to be a pretty day with sunshine and no rain! A repeat is due tomorrow on Friday so we want to make the most of these two nice days while we can. More rain will be with us again next week with rain daily.
I have five new lilies to plant today that came in yesterday. This won't take too long to do and then I'll head on out to the garden and get busy with the weeding. This has been neglected with all the rain last week.
Hubby will be installing a lift gate on the trailer he hauls the mower on and I imagine that I'll be called on again to be his helper. He started the project late yesterday afternoon and only got one side finished.

Blueberry muffins and coffee are a great way to start your day! I hope this day ends up being an enjoyable one for you. We're also forecast to have a sunny day today after two solid days of rain. Today and tomorrow should be sunny. Unfortunately, that means it will be hot when I go for my walk this morning.

@moffittjc Yep! Same here. I have fed the dogs and chickens and about to head out to plant this new shipment of lilies that arrived yesterday. After that, I need to get clean water for all the chickens and then inside to rest and eat lunch. Then the only thing left is to weed the garden and that may have to wait until early tomorrow morning!

@kareng After all the rain we've had for the past two days, it will be miserably humid out there today. I have been pre-loading up on water since I know I will sweat it all out when I go for my walk.

You just reminded me that I have a blueberry muffin mix in my pantry. I'm going to have one for breakfast this morning. We had rain all day yesterday. I mean heavy rainfall we haven't had in quite a while. Most of it didn't start until after I got home from the dentist at 11am, so I'm glad of that.

Well, I see the coffee but can't see the muffins. *sigh* You knew I'd ask for one if you showed them, didn't you? *grinning and teasing you*
When I left for work this morning it was drizzling. By the time I reached work the wipers were going as hard as they could go and I was driving at 25 mph. All I could see of the car in front of me was their taillights. The downpour lasted from about noon until around 3 pm. (The temp only reached 73 degrees today with the next four days being about the same, according to AccuWeather.)

@kareng Yeah, I don't like to drive if it's raining or snowing. Both make it hard to see the road and traffic plus both can make the pavement slick which can cause anxiety over having an accident.
Today it is sunny and hot. We are waiting a couple more hours for the cool of evening so we can mow our yard.
