Hi folks! Can you believe it's August? It will be winter here in our area before we know it. Brrrrr!
There were SO MANY discussions here today that, try as I might, I couldn't finish them and didn't even get to the notifications. I will catch up tomorrow (I hope).
I received a 12-pack of jigsaw puzzles that I ordered (4-100 piece, 4-300 piece and 4-500 piece) and have been working on those and doing some adult coloring. I also ordered a 4-in-1 pack of 500 piece puzzles. I paid for them with Paypal and Amazon earnings; so they were technically free!
I hope you all have a good weekend. Are you doing anything special?
Stay safe and healthy and I will see you again on Sunday.

@simone10 It is. Some are really difficult; but you just have to have patience.

They are "folk art" puzzles and have scenes of small-town activity, farms, etc.

@LindaOHio Is that the thing that has drawings with numbers and you color each number with a specified color?

More sophisticated designs, etc. for adults to color. It's been a big thing for several years now. Thanks!

@lovebuglena No. That's paint-by-number. These are designs such as mandelas, or animal pictures (usually with a very contemporary feel), etc. Much more detailed and "artsy" than a children's coloring book.

@DocAndersen People in our area are starting to wear masks more now that it's mandatory.

Oh I have a love-hate relationship with puzzles cause most of the times I get frustrated when I cannot do it lol however it is enjoyable to do it with friends and family! Today I was all day in bed watching horror movies, where I live we're still locked up due to Covid-19 but I am getting my hopes up that in a few weeks it'll all come back to normal hopefully! Nice post!

Just resting up this weekend. We have a golf tournament next weekend. Plus, it's been raining a lot, so I'm just taking it easy.

Jigsaw puzzles are a fun way to spend some time. I do one or two big ones every winter.

You should have lots of fun with all those puzzles! I don't really have anything major planned for the whole weekend, just relaxing and enjoying time with the kids.
