What Do You Eat

When it is too hot at home? Do you prepare warm food for dinner or just make a light meal?
It was my brother-in-laws birthday yesterday. It was very hot and humid weather to bake a cake for him and so I decided to make a peach iced cake as his birthday cake. We ate the cake after dinner. It was so delicious.
It is my last evening here in my sisters home. I will be sleeping tomorrow evening on my own bed. I am glad to be home again and sleep on my own bed.

While the weather has been so hot at least once a day, usually in the evening, we have sandwiches of meat, cheese and tomatoes. Or we have a big salad with shredded meat and cheese. One night hubby made a really good tuna salad and we ate it pile on big slices of tomatoes.

We here cook food hot even in warm weather because most of our food good and tasty while it hot and we not want to miss it. Here weather is so Good and some good rain too so everything is fine.

We tend to cook the same things all year around. We have central AC; so the house stays cool. Happy belated Birthday to your brother-in-law. The cake looks delicious. Glad that you are home. Enjoy your Sunday! All is well here.
