Did I just get someone fired?

I went to my normal "discount" Mobil station this evening to get some gas and a green lighter (my favorite green lighter had died).
It was a station I've visited for fifteen years. Everybody knows me there, and we always exchange pleasantries.
But tonight the girl behind the counter was an obvious meth-head. She told me to get my mask on (which I did) but when I looked at her she told me that I was being aggressive, and that she was calling the cops.
I bought my lighter, and finished filling my vehicle with gas. She followed me outside and continued to berate me, telling me that I had been aggressive toward her.
I got my gas and got out of there and made a vow (not out loud) to call her manager (my friend) and let her her know that she had/has an aggressive meth-head on her books. Would you do the same?

Maybe you shouldn't have stuck your tongue out at her before putting on your mask...

Of course. Especially if I knew the owner.
We aren't required masks at gas stations. Just about anywhere else.
We went into Dollar General yesterday and wore our masks because it said they were required on the door. Went in, and none of the employees had them on

@TheHorse It's not required here. There;s no county wide mandate for them. Each individual business etc has made decisions regarding if they want their employees or shoppers to wear them. The kids have to wear them on the bus, at school at certain times etc.

Whatever her problem was, it is scary that she was so aggressive with you. It seems a man who enjoys playing with preschool children could not possibly be a problem.

The manager was not there today but I did tell the other employee (a pleasant dude I've known for years) about what happened. He said some customer had been hassling her, and maybe she took it out on me. But I don't know that I adequately described how "crazy" she went.

You should have video record this person, she's obviously went insane.
She can't apply for a job acting that way.

I wonder why that girl is antagonistic towards you. But if you are friends with the manager then it is only right to report her for she would be a liability of the business.
This reminds me of my stint in Stop N' Go. I underwent a training of 1 week that was focused on customer relations.

@TheHorse aside from customer relations we were trained with the selling particularly the cashiering. There's also the stocking of goods, cleaning the surroundings.

@Alexandoy Did they "force" you do do "up-selling," as in "Would you like a lighter with that?"?

I would definitely report her. There's no excuse for her behavior. Have a great day.

@TheHorse If others have reported her, there obviously hasn't been anything done about it. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I would have done the same. Someone that aggressive could be a danger to others as well as herself.
