Oops, I overslept

I overslept almost two and a half hours past my normal time. Luckily it was a day we were to come in late, but I still did not get here.
After work hubby and I did some trouble shooting of an automotive problem and ate ice cream.
I mowed, just as I mowed last night. I am sure that is why I overslept. It really is bedtime here. We ate cold sandwiches after I mowed.
I have had a shower and I am ready for bed. I have spent some time reading top rated and recent discussions here rather than post or answer notifications.
Tomorrow I will work a half day and then go to McPherson for an appointment. Hopefully the person that has been trying to get in touch with me or hubby for a new type of appointment will be able to connect with me or him tomorrow. Maybe I will just leave them one more message.
I hate to oversleep. Hopefully I will be around early tomorrow.
Oh, we put a turkey in to cook tonight, in an electric roaster. Turkey will feature prominently on the menu next week. Yummy. It makes planning easier.

I have been most of the time in bed today and sleeping a lot due to one of the pills for my back. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

I slept a lot Saturday. I took a muscle relaxer for my sciatica both Friday and Saturday. I hope you are doing better now.

@marguicha I got new sturdy shoes that I can put insoles in and they help my posture and therefore my back.I bought these insoles over fifteen years ago and if I will wear them most of my problems disappear. I just would rather wear fun shoes, like sandals.

I would say I did not over sleep but left the bed late because I lacked the energy to get up

I was surprised to see that it was 8:30 when I woke up this morning. Of course, I had trouble falling asleep last night.

Exactly. I like to get a certain amount of things done in the morning and then just crash in the evening.

@GardenGerty So do I. I really like to get everything done and crash in the afternoon
. Unless I am the one who has to cook dinner, then I do crash in the evenings.

@GardenGerty I used to do that too, then freeze it and all I had to do was defrost it. Then add my side dish and voila

Vanilla. We almost always buy vanilla. I think we melted peanut butter in the bottom of the bowl and drizzled chocolate syrup on top.
