I don't want to talk about politics

The first two days weren't so bad. I mean, sure, it did focus on Trump a little bit, but it was really the last night where they didn't seem to mince their words as much. I almost turned it off because of that.

He does. He is destroying our democracy, and he is ostracizing our allies.

I do not like politics either, but I have been following this presidency because I think I really need to know what is going on. We are divided here, with the virus becoming almost a political statement. It's scary.

@LadyDuck Haha, he's definitely the pest president. I've been tuning into the republican convention but only half listening. I've heard a lot of lies and stretching of the truth.

@ScribbledAdNauseum No one tells the truth, Trump will surely try to convince people that he is the Pest President America ever had... oops I made a typo Best.

Neither of the conventions should be used as a roast. The first couple of nights were okay, but I did not like the emcee from the last night of it. Hope you have a good weekend.

I am not a fan of confrontation and arguing, and I'd rather avoid it. That's why I don't discuss politics. I will say this, politicians lie. That's just a fact, and it doesn't matter what party they are in. Republican, Democrat or Independent, they all lie. Let's take away what he has or hasn't contributed while in office and just consider the man. I believe he is too vulnerable of a person. There is something not quite right about him mentally, and I don't feel confident having him in office for that reason. Of course, there is more then just that reason alone, but I'm not willing to get into a political argument, so I am going to leave it there.

@porwest You are right, we all have the right to feel the way we want, believe what we want, LISTEN to who we want (or not Listen, whatever the case may be) and vote for who we want as well. I've been paying attention, admittedly more so then I did with past presidencies. I just hope everyone else is as well.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Apparently you have not really paid all that much attention to what Trump has actually done. Perhaps just too much CNN? lol. In any event. You can feel the way you want, believe what you want, vote for who you want. That's what makes this country great really. But surely you are not suggesting Biden is a viable alternative? That's just insane. He has DEMENTIA! lol

You would be surprised... Less people like him, but there are still a few stragglers who hang on to his every word.
