Yesterday and the good and bad of August

Most years I dread August because of so many birthdays including mine which was yesterday. So far this has been the worst year ever for all of us. around the world.
The 13 th was my oldest daughters birthday. I had no money to buy her anything or send anything and no strength to make anything
17th was grandsons gf that lives here. I forgot to even say it since she was off with her mom most the day. Then Clays the 21st which I feel I already contributed to him with sharing my internet and electricity etc,etc.
Then mine which was yesterday 24th, next day today is my oldest son. Which I should call in a minute, 
I always tease him about being my best birthday present ever.
Right after that Sept. 6st is my daughter here. She did so much for me yesterday and almost every day. Made biscuits and gravy for my breakfast . Made me carrot cake and spaghetti was for dinner. All my favorites. 
Grandson in Ohio is sending me a box fan and my oldest son (birthday boy) sending me a tablet/IPad
I told him I felt bad not being able to send him anything but he said no matter mom it's my turn to buy for you like you did me growing up.
Great grandson here made me the card in the photo. I imagine he had a little help. 
The internet seems to have become our refrigerator magnet displays.
The older folks will get what I mean here I think.
So thats the gist and my thoughts on August.

My birthday is in August. I was thrilled as both of my kids actually called me this year, often they do not even think of it. Our November through January is much like your August and September as far as birthdays go. On top of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

oh my double whamy huh. I have 5 and 2 forgot but one of those was having issues with pain so I understand. Does make you feel good they remember though

Happy Birthday a little late. It looks like you had a wonderful birthday by the look of that card. I bet you shed tears of happiness when he gave it to you.

Your birthday was the same day as my son's. Two good people sharing a birthday. A very Happy Birthday to you even if it is late. I hope the coming year brings better fortune for you. Those were nice gifts from your sons and your daughter made a big effort for you too.

Welcome to August birthdays. My cat's birthday is in August and so is mine too. Happy belated birthday. You certainly do have a lot of birthdays in August. Your daughter is a real gem. Your son is great and he appreciates you. What ai sweet card from a good grandson.

used to be one more to My mom had the day after my daughters birthday but she is gone and we no longer celebrate it. I do think of her though

Wish you a belated Happy Birthday. Some of my friends and relatives birthdays also fall in August and September.
This year we cannot go and celebrate with others.
This is quite different.
Yet it looks as if this situation would persist for 1 more year.
