You Can Call Me a klutz

Yes, you can. This morning I had my pre-op physical. When I got home I decided to clean out the car. My son is not the cleanest person when it comes to the car. I didn't want to look at it any longer. So, I got a plastic bag and proceeded to clean out the car. As I leaned over the middle console I got my rib just right, and now I'm hurting every time I move. I've had many broken ribs in my life, and because of it, they're soft and it doesn't take much to bruise or break them. I'm really hoping I only bruised it this morning. I'm looking at another six weeks of healing. And right when the other rib on the left side is almost healed. Yes, I hurt that the first time my son brought the playpen. I leaned on it to do something with my granddaughter and was rewarded with a bruised rib. My pre-op physical went well this morning. They did an EKG and took more blood. I guess what they took last week at the hospital wasn't enough. She told me she would let me know tomorrow about the results, but everything is looking good. I also told my son about the car. He wasn't happy, but he knows about it. I pulled the seat into a straight-up position yesterday and now it won't recline the way he likes it. Yesterday when he gave me the car, I asked him in passing if he would stop and get me a hot dog from Nana's. They have the best hot dogs. I didn't expect him to bring me one. However, this morning when I got home, he called and asked me if I wanted my hot dog. Yes, I went and got my hot dog and finished it a short while ago. I also stopped by AutoZone on my way home because my key thing stopped working. It wouldn't lock or unlock the door. The guy opened it, tapped the battery, and voila, my key thing works again. And he didn't charge me anything. He said the battery wasn't sitting right. Yea me! Okay, I'm going to finish the notifications, get my exercise, and work on Vendetta. How is your day going? Are you a klutz? Or am I alone in that category? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. It's a nice fall day here, so I'll find a nice fall picture.

@TheHorse Yes, it is. It took all of 30 seconds for him to open the key thing and tap the battery in place and walk out the door to make sure it worked.

Your poor ribs! I feel for any klutz you have. My mom considered herself a klutz, but it was always when she was by herself.

Yes, I am a klutz, I always find a way to hurt myself, not seriously, but just a bit. When I wash and clean the car my husband always tells me "DO NOT move my seat!". I would never change his settings.

@LadyDuck It moves back and forth and reclines. I moved it to a straight position because my son likes it slightly reclined.

well, we've sorta a rule 'round here. ya borrow someone's auto, the put't all back's close's possible (seats, mirrors) to the way such 'twas given to ya. 'n cleaner than when ya got't, too. shame'n him fer leavin' schtuff'n yer car! i used to keep my trucks very tidy. 'd a basket fer kleenex 'n other essentials. since the hubs's been drivin' both fer years, they looks's though a homeless person's been livin' 'nside 'em. i'm beyond disgusted... when y'ave a crew cab truck, one 'xpects not to've to clean off a seat/floor board to fit a passenger, nor be 'ttacked by piles 'f schtuff when ya turn a corner. not to mention the sticky steerin' wheels 'n nasty door handles. the later 'f which i've cleaned thoroughly. phew, that bein' said, i'm greatly saddened by yer rib 'njury'n sure hope that such doesn't coz yer knee surgery to be post-poned. sendin' healin' hugs! klutz? nah i'm jest backwardsly graceful ;)

I don't plan on mentioning it to anyone. Though it might become obvious during the physical therapy appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, it won't hold it up. It's not on the list of things to look out for that would cancel the operation. Nothing said about broken/bruised bones. That is disgusting. I know he'll be surprised when I bring the car back to him tomorrow. Maybe he'll get the hint. Backwardsly graceful. Interesting.

Oh dear your poor ribs! Hope they are not still painful. Good about the key and battery! That tree looks like autumn is coming!

There are definite signs of autumn as the trees slowly change color. This was taken last year. I thought the tree was perfect. Thank you. They still hurt, but I can live with it. Hopefully, I can say the same after today's joint camp therapy session as I prepare for Monday's surgery. Yes, I'm very happy the key control works now.

My remote wouldnt work for our tiny telly I keep in the shed, I was trying to use it without batteries. Klutz isnt a word we use, infact its a long time since I saw it written. I suspect we are all a Klutz quite often,

You have to be more careful. I hope you'll be all right, Yes, I am a klutz because I went from a two-story house to a small two-room apartment and I am always bumping into something. Being alone I talk to myself and inanimate objects. Just recently bumped into my fan and trapped it before it fell but hurt my elbow and I told the fan sorry about that
