At some point today (Wednesday) hubby told me I'll be back. He didn't say where he was going or when he'd be back. That didn't sit well with me. I told myself that when hubby came back home I was gonna inquire why he didn't tell me where he was going or how long he'd be gone. However, when he returned he had a beautiful flower arrangement for me. Totally did not expect that. It was a happy surprise. No wonder he didn't tell me where he was going.

Totally unexpected. There was no special occasion. He just felt like giving me flowers I guess.

Nope. Nothing to celebrate. It's "just because" flowers. No special occasion.

I used to get flowers from him more often. But lately, that hasn't been the case. Sometimes I got flowers for myself myself. Nothing wrong with that. But nicer when I get them from hubby.

@erictsuma I tried to water them today and I guess must have poured more water than I should have because it leaked out and went all over the dining table. I didn't think I poured a lot. But it's a sponge so I guess for the sponge it was more than should've been poured.

@lovebuglena am glad you have liked the surprise gift. You can store the flowers in a cool dry place for them to last for a while.. Have a nice day my friend.

You shouldn't question him. If you're married, you should trust that he's not doing anything wrong when he doesn't give you all the details. Just saying.

It is not nice, rude even, to just leave and not tell your spouse where you are going or when you'll be back.

There is also no reason in my opinion for a spouse to not say where he is going unless he is planning a surprise or has something to hide.
