Hard As A Rock

I told my wife I would take it out earlier today as I had plans to do something good with it. Hard as a rock. I mean, rock solid.
A few hours later it was still hard as a rock.
You would think my wife would be happier with the situation being as it were. I mean, so hard, that thing.
I just put the package of chicken thighs in the microwave to do some quick thawing. I mean, we WILL want to eat sometime today you know.

Not good to chicken out on the hard and tough thighs. When you can defrost it a bit more and enjoy a desirable dish of chicken casserole. That was what your wife was going to cook, right?

@porwest I don't cook so well, too. Wow! Your wife and I are so lucky to be loved by our gorgeous husbands.

Well, that's one way to do it. You know, filling a sink with hot water and giving them a bath works, too.

@porwest Growing up, warm water baths and turning products over seemed to do the trick. When I need to thaw stuff, I do the same. I think I like it because I can feel it thawing in real time that way.

@kaylachan 99% of the time I still quick thaw in the microwave. It seems to work, so I figure, why not?
