September 23 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. Even being in the hospital there's something to be thankful for..
I'm thankful for the healing process. I'm not moving my knee yet on my own, but I'm starting to do more and the pain is a bit better than it has been.
I'm thankful I'm being transferred to a nursing home tomorrow. I called my son to let him know he will need to bring me clothes. He's also taking my plants to his neighbor so they won't die.
I'm thankful for the great nursing staff. I hope I can say the same tomorrow. I've been assured that the nursing home I'm going to is very good.
I'm thankful my sister called me this morning.
Okay, that's what I'm thankful for today. Again, I got a lot of sleep today. I've zoomed the font so I can see it without my glasses as the bifocals really messed with working here.

that's wonderful news, hon. ought not be long'n yer gonna be able to move such by yerself. 'twas a purty morn here, crappy 'fternoon, but such's life. did get to see some lil warblers :)

not fer certain what all's been happenin' out here, the ferals 're mostly'n my lil sanctuary today 'n thus the birds 'f all sorts stayin' clear. makes me wonder if'n somethin' didn't try to get 'em (ferals) so they too 're seekin' such safety. sure screwed'p my dawns early light bird watchin' though.

So glad that you are feeling better. We all have more to be grateful for that we usually realize. Hubby surprised me this morning with a trip out... something that we haven't done in months. Still keeping our distance from others... but it still was something nice on such a gorgeous day!
