My heart is broken

Just today I learnt that a former colleague and friend passed on. He fell from 8th floor while trying to escape from fire caused by an electric fault. The same day I take my mom for some medical tests after I got concerned she had lost her appetite and weight. It turned out that she has BP and 'mild' diabetes. My heart is torn apart. I feel very low but I hope all will be well.

Thank you so much. He was only 28. Life is short. Mom will be okay sooner than we think
