People Are Tired Of Covid

United States
September 28, 2020 6:58pm CST
I heard today, they are opening bars and restaurants in Florida. I know we are all tired of it, it has been almost a year and now seems they are throwing in the towel. Kids in school are catching it. I know all of us are tired of it. People just want the normal back. I think we are quite a ways from that.

Many in FL are against that idiot of a governor. He's just a Trump licker.

I thought all that was already open in Florida. Or was it shut down again. My brother is moving to Florida. I wonder why the sudden decision to move, especially to that state.

They are going wide open, I hate your brother is moving there, but the way the virus is spreading no one is really safe nowhere.

@popciclecold I agree. No one is safe anywhere. I wonder why they choose to move there specifically.

People who want to go back to normal will not get it. This pandemic changes everything we do business, the way we go out

They are opening everything in Florida and this is insane. They reopened everything in Spain and France and now they have almost 15,000 new cases every day.

I can understand that people are fed up . . . but it's foolish to let our guards down right now. Even if there are claims made that the numbers are down, there is still a contagious virus out there . . . it's not going to be over just because we're tired of it. I heard the bars and restaurants there were packed . . . just wait and see what happens within a couple weeks .

Many things have been open here. Masks are supposed to be worn. But many are getting tired of that.

In here, some cities lock their door. My city is a bit more lax compared to others. In fact, liquor bar has been lifted

Yes, I am tired of it too but I think it is still too early to open bars and restaurants in Florida.

I think Gov. DeSantis would do anything for Trump. If Trump told him to strip and jump off the top of the Empire State Building, DeSantis would run and do it. How sad that he is putting all of Florida in danger. Lots of senior citizens too, who are high risk.

From things I hear from their own citizens, Florida seems to have handled this more poorly than other states. Not that any state is an expert.
