I had a good therapy session this morning. On Friday my knee was at 90 degrees. This morning I got the bend to 101. I have 9 degrees left to go.
I asked when I could start pool therapy. She looked at my incision and said not yet. All the scabs need to be gone. It's almost there. They have a pool at the therapy center.
So things are going well. I needed to ice the knee when I got home. That gave me a nice hour and a half nap.
I also needed to go to the store this morning after the therapy session. I needed bananas. I also picked up more compression stockings since I had only one pair plus the one single they gave me in the hospital. I also got readers for the computer. It's like looking through a magnifying glass. At least it's easier to read on the computer.
When I looked at the weather this morning they said we would get rain. Yep, it's pouring out there with thunder.
It's looking good. I'm doing better every day with my knee. If things go this well with the other one, I can see me back to normal activities sooner than expected.

@MommyOfEli2013 The sooner I get to that goal, the better and I won't need to worry about the surgery as I need to be at 110 for them to do the next surgery.

congrats'n yer continuin' success with that knee! i know yer gonna be most pleased to be able to swim yet 'gain, perhaps by next week? will ya use theirs? 'tis the pool open where ya used to go? didn't know how all that'd work with the virus...
ah, rain. i miss the sound, scent 'n benefits 'f such, so 'njoy!
got a bit 'f a reprieve fer the birds this morn. set the sprinkler to keep 'way the ferals. they lined'p so heavily 'long pine branches such nearly touched the pond, lol. the 'njoyed their baths'n safety though. the trees'n this side benefited from such's well. the system set'p'n the sanctuary doesn't get much water to 'em due to their locations.

@just4him that's great yer gonna 've access to both. 's yer strength'n that knee gains yer gonna be able to do more. 'tis 'mportant to get back to thingies ya 'njoy. wish 't times swimmin' 'twas somethin' the delighted me, alas such's not so e'en though i know how.
a tad jealous y'all got'cha some rain. i fear e'en from near a foot 'way i shocked mr. rocky when givin' him supper this eve. noperz, he didn't 'ppreciate such one iota, poor boy.
the got 'nother this eve courtesy 'f the hubs. with so many ferals he's now missin' watchin' the birds, too.

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, I'll be happy to have access to the Ortho pool. I'm finding I can do more as my knee gets better.
I hope you get rain soon or has your rainy season come and gone? Poor Mr. Rocky. I hope he doesn't shock easily and he appreciates his supper today.
I didn't know he liked watching the birds.

They have a pool at the Orthopedic Center so I'll be using theirs. Yes, the Y is open. You need to sign up to use it as they only take so many people at a time.
The sun is out again. It rained for a couple of hours. It was much needed.
I'm glad the birds got their baths this morning.

I'm glad your therapy is going good, going to the pool will eventually be allowed. We're expecting rain this afternoon, any time now. Jay went hunting yesterday, his friend shot a deer.

You're most likely getting the storm we're getting right now. I think I saw it moving off in your direction.
Is it hunting season in your neck of the woods? We don't have hunting season until close to Thanksgiving.

I went to the dentist. Was to have build up and impression for a crown. The tooth had a lot of decay, but when it was drilled out I did not need a root canal (yay). When I went to check out the process cost me less. (yay, again)

Nothing to envy. I have a long way to go and another surgery before I'll be pain-free. Every day is a little better.
