As I was reorganizing my cupboards yesterday, I have not only found my old Filipino cooking book but also an old drawing my husband made. It was a pencil drawing of our young puppy Angus who is now on the rainbow bridge for 2 years. I miss him really very much as if he was my child. I am glad I have a lot of videos, photos and wonderful memories of him. I have started for a long time writing about our journey with him not only in Europe but also his last destination in the Philippines. I have not finished writing about this book because every time I write about those memories, my heart breaks. Today, I want to continue writing about him and I hope I can write a few chapters before the day ends. Thank you for reading. I wish you a wonderful Wednesday. I have planned to go out today but the weather is just bad to go out.

It's a wonderful drawing your husband did of him. I remember reading about him when he was still alive and remember when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Our pets are an important part of our lives.

I knew the day you wrote about his passing. The day passed by so quickly, that was already 2 years. Still fresh though. I know you had great memories with Angus.

@thelme55 I am so so sorry. How did you feel when you saw the drawing? Memories are good of our pets. I lost my dog and cat and I miss them very much. I have pictures of them and so glad I have my Sophie now. That is too bad the weather is bad where you are that you cannot go out.

I felt nostalgic seeing the drawing @Hannihar but at the same time, I was happy seeing the drawing which was made when Angus was still a puppy. Thank you.

Pets leave such a legacy in our hearts. It is hard when they cross the rainbow bridge. I hope your writing will bring peace. Sorry the weather has been bad there.
