Puss and boots?

I have no idea where that expression came from. Is it an old story? A TV show from before my time? Anyway, I broke out my actual hiking boots the other day for a hike with a friend, and Kitty decided she liked them. Actually, between my desk and my bed was already one of her favorite sleeping spots, but I think the nectar-like aroma of my boots must be an attractant. How many favorite sleeping spots do you animals have? Kitty had about five, and added another one this morning. You'll have to guess where the latest one is.

She's cute. I have some boys hiking boots that I wear and Lily likes scratching them up. I have to hide them from her. She loves sleeping near the vacuum in the living room. She also loves sleeping near me on the couch. She also loves to sleep in my room on a storage bin I have in there. She sometimes sleeps in bed with me. She used to sleep on the other end of the couch too.

@TheHorse Lily scratches the couch too. I used to have a scratching post which she used, but it was too scratched up so I throw it away. I got another one, but she wouldn't use it. Then I got a lounger scratching post which she sometimes uses, but she still likes scratches the couch.

Everyone read this when I was a child. Or had it read to them
We have an abandoned catc here right now. I made it a bed on the garage floor, but it was curled up on the work bench on a glove. I moved the bed there and now she is happy. They know what they want.

One of my cat has favorite sleeping spot on the top of the cupboard. He used to sleep with me on the bed. But after another kitten born and keep coming tho my bed, she seek another place to sleep :-)

Lulu loves any nook. Would even crawl into it even though it's not empty. She would empty it selfishly. Lala loves boxes. My Kofi, the mini panther would loves my bed. Or the others too if the night is cold and they want to share my warmth. Basically I am their hot water bottle, sort of.

"Puss in Boots" is a story, not puss and boots. The cat of my neighbor loves to sleep on the carpet in our hallway, that is his favorite spot, also in the guest bathroom, I can understand there is a furnace one floor under it and that bathroom is always warm.

@TheHorse "Puss in Boots" it's the translation of "Le Chat Botté", that is a short novel written by the French author Charles Perrault at the end of 1600. If you read French, this is the novel

No idea where 'puss in boots' phrase came from. I'm aware of the animated character Puss in Shrek.
My mom's pet dog has three to five spots that he sleeps at during the day.

ours have beds on every level of the house, so, that is their first choice. Love the Merrills!
