October 26 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. I'm finished with the notifications and it's time to get off the computer.
I'm thankful for getting groceries this morning. I even bought some for my son. He does so much for me.
I'm thankful for the nap I had. I was falling asleep watching TV after I finished the notifications this morning. I think I had an hour nap.
I'm thankful for the call I received from my support nurse who checks in with me once a week. She told me she couldn't last week. She was swamped with work, so she called today. I told her about my progress. She feels more like a friend than a person calling because she needs to.
It's been a good day. This is only a small snapshot of what I'm thankful for besides all the things we take for granted: food, water, a place to live, a bed to sleep in, a car to get where I need to go, family, and friends. There is so much to be thankful for every day. What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful that I am back here.
I'm thankful for the snow that visited early morning and it has melted already (unfortunately).
I'm thankful for this brand new day, knowing that there's still a lot to look forward to as the days go by.
I am thankful for the quiet in this place.
I'm thankful for good health for family, friends and you guys here.

Right now I'm enjoying my coffee and it looks like the sun might actually peek out.

Yesterday I also got groceries. I also found out the two shirts I ordered are making their way to Kohls. I also had a little bit of trouble signing in again on that same site last week. I found out a way to fix that problem and it worked.

Thank you. It's much like being here. We know each other virtually and have gotten to be friends with many here. I don't know her or met her in person, but she feels like a friend too.
