Today is Veteran’s Day, so thank you to all the Veterans out there. I had to work but I had a nice thing happen that I was not expecting today. The team I work with got me a card that said thank you and they all signed it. A small gesture but one that really meant a lot to me. I had a few others that work in the store that came out of their way to find me to say thank you also and was really nice. I always feel a little weird about it, I didn’t join for thank yous but I appreciate it all the same. It was my honor to serve and it was really nice for people I have know barely a month to go out of their way to say something about it. It really made my day. I hope you all have had a good day too.

I am glad you got the card, it was Armistice Day here in Europe, we remembered the veterans, but those of the WWI.

Yeah, that is where Veterans Day came from in 1954 here in the states it was changed to Veteran's Day and became a National holiday.

I didn't work last Wednesday. It rained most of the day. I went to my first mammogram appointment.

I can imagine how touched you would have been. That is a really lovely gesture. It doesn't matter that it is small. I'm sure it meant a lot to you.
