I've never had one either but I recall when we first came to El Paso back in 1959 that the Army had put together a few trampolines for the kids to jump on, it cost a dime for something like 15 minutes or something like that.

@rebelann A boy I dated, his father ran the 'Hobby Lot.' It was a place for kids to enjoy, pinball machines and eight inground type trampolines. We use to rent a trampoline for 1/2 an hour, I'm not sure what it cost.

@rebelann I only have photos of him, I am glad I have, poor kitty he only lived 4 years, he had cancer.

I had a blast on them as a kid but I'm not much for jumping anymore .... too many parts would flap around too much.

Sophie was about 4 months old and I probably gave her too much food. Lucky for me that she wasn't a lab cuz they love to eat til they pop.

I remember how much fun we used to have on those things when I was a kid. We'd beg mom to take us. Mom would pay 10 cents for each of us to jump around on one of the trampolines they had.

It amazes me how so many species love to frolic on trampolines.
