Amazing story I just read. I had to share. A baby was born from a 27 year old frozen embryo in Knoxville, TN. What a miracle right! Embryos have been donated to the NEDC from all over the United States and couples have traveled to Knoxville from all over the world for embryo transfers. Surprised I have to seen this on the local news. What a story.
Molly Everette Gibson was frozen as an embryo for more than 27 years before being born to her parents, Tina and Ben Gibson.

It should give anyone who is not pro-life pause. Babies are babies, forever and always, and life is something unfair to deny anyone. If a baby is a baby from an embryo that has sat frozen for 27 years, why in the world do we think its okay to rip fetuses out of wombs today? Didn't want to make it political. But is a life really about politics?

@CarolDM I know. A lot of people are fine with killing babies. It is sometimes a very evil world we live in unfortunately with some very evil people in it. It is what it is.

I wouldn't want to bring someone else's embryo into the world simply because there is no way to know if there are any hereditary conditions this child could have. I hope this child is not afflicted with anything.

The foundation checks for and diseases. I am sure some parents want a baby and opt for this route. I am happy for them.

@CarolDM To be honest, I don't have a clear vision of how I experience it yet, but everything that is 'artificial' and made from a test tube somehow scares me ... that it's a miracle - it certainly is! Doesn't that scare you?
