Could You Possibly Like Wrapping Gifts?

I don't know if I'm going to see anyone who actually likes to wrap gifts, but now that I think about it, I have seen malls setting up kiosks to wrap gifts for people. So, I'm not going to likely see 95% hate it and 5% enjoy it! ;)
I don't think that you could pay me to wrap gifts! Not if you want them to look fancy lol. The only thing that is fancy about my gift wrapping is the paper which I do love to pick out and the bow that I stick on top. If I'm really in the mood, I use ribbon too. But I have to be in the mood.
I do enjoy wrapping up the vegetable peelings to put in the Green Bin. I spread them onto several sheets of newspaper and start folding in the corners. In seconds, my vegetable peels are gift wrapped. And it doesn't take tape or ribbons to hold it all together.
Now it's your turn... ;)

I'm a gift bag type of woman. There will only be one gift bag or possibly gift wrapped item from me this year. I decided to give everyone else a gift card. Couples gifts. I'm trying to decide what amount though. Do you think $15 per person is fair enough? It doesn't seem too cheap does it?

Whatever you can afford sounds good. "It's the thought that counts..." :-)

Not at all when it comes to how much you spend. For couples, I tend to look for fancy boxes of cookies. That pleases both of them! Homemade might be something to consider too!

@Hate2Iron Cookies would be a good option, but we're going to be making cookies at cookie day, which is when we exchange our gifts.
I have gifted cookies / cake mixes to family in the past though. My friends and I are on keto now, so that makes the supplies more expensive.

That's what gift bags are for
.
I used to be fascinated by my mom wrapping gifts. She had the patience to do it nice and neatly. I love to wrap gifts creatively . . . but ya know, sometimes it's just not worth the time and effort . . . so I don't always love the process.

@Hate2Iron Me too actually. I initially thought gift bags were not so thoughtful . . . just shove the gift in a bag with some tissue over it. But now, well, time is precious too . . . I try to have gift bags on hand here

All of mine are challenging. So far wrapping up a can of peanuts had to be the easiest. No wrapping the bottom and all the extra paper folded into the center of the lid. One of my kids won't mind a bit ;)

Mine are probably worse lol. As long as they don't look at the sides where they are folded... I'm alright. A bow goes a long way too lol.

@Hate2Iron lol. Yeah, a bow could hide some of the lack of handiwork. lol

@hate2iron You go to all that effort and the paper just gets ripped off. I’m not doing that.

I don't think that I have ever seen my husband ever attempt wrapping something. He usually gets one of the kids to do it for him.

My kids put up a fuss when I stopped wrapping so I went back to it. I had some Christmasy cloth bags that I started using... They hated them. They are all grown up and they still love the idea of wrapped gifts... Have to admit, ours in return are wrapped as well.

Now a days gift bags are getting popular. I have not wrapped gifts in recent years. But yes I did it for years and sort of enjoyed it. Even done it in bulk for my daughter's birthday return gifts.
Now we wrap only those gifts which are big for gift bags.

I use that excuse for mine when I get a raised eye brow. lol... But, I'm sure that my creativity is nothing like yours. Maybe if I did just one a day... I might enjoy it more.
