It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas

Happy Friday Everyone! it's getting nastier and nastier as the day goes on. Rain coming later this afternoon and it looks like tomorrow will be a washout. UGH
But, I'd rather have rain than snow.
Nothing much going on here today.
My back is bothering me so I've been relaxing and reading.
I think I did too much yesterday with putting decorations up so the lifting and bending did me in. Tomorrow my daughter and I can finish the decorating and I have to say the house really looks good.
I needed to get out of the Covid mindset and enjoy seeing Christmas explode in the house.
I've been going through old recipes for Christmas cookies that I haven't made in awhile and I think it's a good year to bring back some of those cookies we all enjoyed. Most of them are time consuming but oh so delicious.
Anyway, I just wanted to pop on and say hi and hope everyone is having a good day and a good weekend ahead.

I hope your back eases up on you..
Mom just said a little while ago we're supposed to get some rain and very little snow at some point.

Those cookies should make Christmas come alive with the aromas you remember from Christmases past. I'm glad the decorating is coming along. I'm sorry your back is paying the price.
I'm sorry your weather is nasty. I would love to see snowflakes. We have fluffy clouds in a blue sky and warmish temps for December. 40s.

I am still in denial about December 
. Well, I did one little bit - at the grocery store today I bought 2 little poinsettias . . . so that's a start. That'll be neat to bring out the old cookie recipes . . . I was thinking to do cookies I've been meaning to bake all these years but never did . . . time, we have time this year . Take care of your back . . . enjoy the weekend!
