Baked Banana Nut Bread for Neighbor

Saw my neighbor out walking her dog today. I stopped and talked to her about her husband. He is the one that has a blood clot from an unrelated surgery he had months ago.
He has been out of work for several months now, taking meds to dissolve the blood clot. Good news is he is not using the walker any more. But the blood clot is still in his leg.
They may have to change his meds since they are not getting any results yet. Very scary as it could go to his brain.
I asked if they liked banana nut bread. Turns out her husband loves it. So I made a loaf and took it over just now. They were both delighted. And I felt good as well.
Always feels good to help others when you can.

That was very kind of you to bake some. I love Banna nut bread, too. Mom used to bake it all of the time.

That was nice of you. My uncle has to take medicine for blood clots. He seems to be doing well on it.

@CarolDM Hmm, funny that would trigger it, but surgery is hard on the body.

I am glad to hear he isn't using the walker but I hope they can get that clot dissolved before it gets worse.
Mmm! Banana Bread! That was so kind of you to bake and take over to them.

@CarolDM I hope it doesn't get any worse. Do they think its moved around a lot? At the moment it is still in his leg, right?

@ScribbledAdNauseum We didn't get into many details. She just said that he was making progress. Not sure what that means.
