A Sprinkle of Snow

Good morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! I woke up to a slight dusting of snow which totally surprised me. I really either wasn't paying attention to the forecast or it snuck in under the radar. Either way, it probably won't last long which is fine with me.
My daughter went to work today and this will be her last commute until next year! 
So, it's just me and the pups today.
I did most of the cleaning yesterday so I could plant myself in front of the tv and catch up on the shows I've missed during this past week. I have my routine of shows I watch that my daughter doesn't so I save them for the days when she has to go into the office. We watch plenty of other tv shows together but she isn't into some of the reality shows I like.
I'm ready for my coffee and I really need it this morning. I feel tired and wanted to just stay in bed but I forced myself to get up and get going.
So here I am....

Good morning, with coffee cup (my second) in hand, I was waiting for you to post.
I am getting ready to start work in a few minutes, but until then I am going to get going on reading some new posts.
Nothing exciting happening here today, I've got my first load in the dryer with another waiting to go. Its so easy to do laundry when working from home-I love that.

@Marilynda1225 You do not ever have to worry about me working too hard.
Our laundryroom is close to my office/den that I work from, just steps away, so its easy for me to do it.
And I don't have a daughter here to ask to do it.

Our laundry room is on the second floor so it's easy to push the laundry detail off on my daughter on the days she works from home. Most times I put it in the wash on my way down to make the coffee and she will move it to the dryer when she goes up to start work. Today she's working in the office but it's the only day this week due to the holiday.
My coffee is long gone and I had my second cup with my dearest friend who called to chat for awhile. We haven't been able to chat much recently as there's so much going on in her family so it was nice to catch up today.

@Juliaacv I was a little sad when my daughter got divorced and moved back here with me but she comes in handy I'm sure one day she'll move out again but secretly I'm not rushing it

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I am envious of your snow!
We are supposed to have some next week or two weeks from now
according to the farmer's almanac. Enjoy your coffee and your shows!
I am getting started on some things I didn't get to do yesterday and then
spending the rest of the day on mylot, reading and crocheting.

@Marilynda1225 We haven't even had the sprinkle here. Well, I did see some snow but it was too warm for it even form a thin layer.
I am making another one of the blouses that I just finished. This time in shades of blue and I think I will do the sleeves a little differently. Any suggestions?

The snow was just a sprinkle and now it's gone. The sun took care of that in record time.
Enjoy your day! mylotting, reading and crocheting are some of my favorite ways to spend time too.

I'm sure you got more snow than we did but all the rain washed ours away. Having your pathway cleared is a plus especially if you didn't have to do it. Sometimes paying someone to do it is worth the money

i never understood that - a sprinkle of snow. We sprinkle sugar and salt on stoff. we don't sprinkle snow on stuff. why do we say that sorry my brain is off in the land of why this morning.

It is sunny and bright here. it is on the chilly side though. They said on the news it would be windy today, but it doesn't look too bad.

I just went outside to get a package off the porch and it's pretty chilly. It actually looks warmer than it is.

lol I completely sympathize, I am feeling like going to bed for a nap and I have only been up a few hours. Al and I watch TV in two separate rooms, are tastes are totally different. lol

Having different tastes in tv seems normal to me and I'm not surprised you both watch in separate rooms. I probably would too if I was married.

My chores didn't get done yet. My phone rang with a call from my closest friend and we were able to spend time chatting and having our coffee together.
No big holiday plans for either my daughter or myself. We'll ring in the new year together. Usually she goes to a party but not this year due to Covid

I have quite a few shows I like to watch too. I don't seem to have time to watch them all, so I alternate what I watch, except for NCIS. I'm not a happy camper when I go to bed without watching an episode. I finished two series this morning. I've been watching Once Upon a Time in Wonderland on Disney + along with Mandalorian. I concluded both this morning. Both satisfying endings, though I can't wait for the next season of Mandalorian. I know I have a year to wait for it.
