What did you have for dinner tonight?

I ran a few errands today and decided to bring something special home for dinner.
I score two $1.00 burritos from Taco Bell and demanded six "hot" sauces" in the little packets that squirt in random directions, often at your shirt.
I had some sour cream at home. It was delicious, and I am satisfied. The total cost was $2.18, including California's monolithic sales tax.

@Deepizzaguy No onions, mustard, sauerkraut, or hot peppers? I'm traumatized.

@TheHorse — your favorite line in the TV series M*A*S*H is, “Biggest horse’s patoot in the Army.”

@TheHorse I was craving for something else.
A nice juicy burger would have hit the right spot.

Leftovers. I made stewed vegetables, Japanese style so it's seasoned with soy sauce. For New Year's a traditional rice cakes, mochi dishes with Japanese mustard greens. U put the two together and add rice and been eating it for 3 days now. Freezing the rest. Not fond of too long leftovers.

I have no idea what I ate on this particular day in 2021, and I am not sure I was responding regularly to Linda in Ohio's daily dinner posts to go back and look.
But Taco Bell? Well, I definitely get a hankering for it some days. Although I never get a bargain like this because I am a glutton. I'll usually get a Burrito Supreme, maybe some soft tacos and definitely a chicken quesadilla—all of which costs me considerably more than the $2.18 you spend on the day you wrote this post.
