What did you have for dinner tonight?

I ran a few errands today and decided to bring something special home for dinner. I score two $1.00 burritos from Taco Bell and demanded six "hot" sauces" in the little packets that squirt in random directions, often at your shirt. I had some sour cream at home. It was delicious, and I am satisfied. The total cost was $2.18, including California's monolithic sales tax. What did you have for dinner?

@TheHorse I was craving for something else. A nice juicy burger would have hit the right spot.

I love tons of that hot sauce (not on my shirt though ). We have been going fancy the past week. Last night we had bow tie pasta with smoked salmon with a four berry spinach salad (all made at home).

Leftovers. I made stewed vegetables, Japanese style so it's seasoned with soy sauce. For New Year's a traditional rice cakes, mochi dishes with Japanese mustard greens. U put the two together and add rice and been eating it for 3 days now. Freezing the rest. Not fond of too long leftovers.

I have no idea what I ate on this particular day in 2021, and I am not sure I was responding regularly to Linda in Ohio's daily dinner posts to go back and look. But Taco Bell? Well, I definitely get a hankering for it some days. Although I never get a bargain like this because I am a glutton. I'll usually get a Burrito Supreme, maybe some soft tacos and definitely a chicken quesadilla—all of which costs me considerably more than the $2.18 you spend on the day you wrote this post.
