Proud Boys????

The Proud Boys seem to be gloating about their antics at the Capitol yesterday. Watching video of their antics today I'm just wondering how this group came up with their name. Boys I understand because from observation they seem to have the emotional maturity of a 10 year old. But proud?? What exactly do they have to be proud about. They mostly look like comic losers to me.

I agree with you. What a bunch of buffoonery . But equally I'm concerned they were able to get as far as they did. Do they not have adequate protection there? Security doors and shutters?

'That name' was originally a comedy-skit, and the group of retards at the capitol has nothing to do with it.

@pjmurphy I have only seen a couple photos but no videos yet. Soon as I saw a little bit I started to cry. I have no idea why because in no way am I even surprised at this behaviour but I think I (and like a huge majority of people) are getting so sick of all this. People not getting along, the ignorance and selfishness of people.
I intend to watch actual footage of this but not right now. I've been listening to some late show hosts talking about it and some of it on the news but for some reason it's really getting to me. I'm not even American but I'm still human who is starting to highly doubt peace will ever come to this world. People are so disappointing. Comic losers is a great way to describe them! I'm sure they are proud!

@pjmurphy I still have hope for America, and a little bit of hope for the world. I guess it's more of a "wait and see" kinda situation.
And from me to you, I wish your country the very best. I hope things calm down over there.

One of my brothers was a Vietnam Vet. He passed on a couple of weeks ago. I am glad he did not live to hear about this. He was wounded and suffered and came away with a brain tumor cause of that war. He gave his all. This horror that is going on right now insults all Vets.
