I never got to experience snow flakes nor snow

Despite travelling to countries that has snow and snow flakes I never got to experience it. I remember my nephew in Colorado telling me that there was 4 inch snow and that I would get to experience it when I reach there from San Francisco.
And when I reached there a couple of days later it had all disappeared. Every cold country that I visited did not greet me with snow nor snow flakes.
My friend sent me that photo - her first arrival in the US. She is now settled there.
What has been your travel disappointments?

I'm sorry to hear that, snow is amazing of you ask me! I love the way it sparkles at night when light hits it.

Maybe next year book a trip specifically to see snow
There are places you're more or less 100% going to get snow...just find them

Would you like some snow? It's been snowing here. Snow is beautiful but it's no fun to be in if you don't have a choice. Pretty and I had to go grocery shopping today. The streets were icy. I drove very slowly and carefully to Walmart. We picked up what we needed and I drove just as carefully home again.
I took this photo out my front door last night.

I was fascinated by snow since childhood. I had two experiences from Manali and Srinagar trip as young girl . But then I stayed in Colorado and Chicago for quite some time and then I lost all the fascination facing the challenges It's good to have them as tourist.

It's been decades since I last traveled but I was totally disappointed with San Diego California. The beach provided way too many sand fleas that made a lunch outta me.
