Do you do Pinterest?

I was just sitting here wondering what to do, and Pinterest came to mind. I like Pinterest but I don't seem to go there that much. They do have some incredible things on there. I like to look at the craft projects and recipes. I always tell myself I am going to do some of the things that are on there, but not sure that I ever have. One of these days I will!! Do you like Pinterest? Have you used any of the ideas from there?

I used to use pinterest and ended up going down the rabbit hole. I sometimes use it when I am looking for crochet projects.

@snowy22315 Absolutely! Of course, this was years ago when pinterest just started. To me it was like a better version of instructables.com

They do have great ideas. However, sometimes the projects and or recipes that are on there, don't seem to work out as well in real life. I have heard a few people say that.

@snowy22315 I dislike more recipes then I like that I find there but that’s not unusual. I’m picky and even when I try recipes in cookbooks or magazines etc it’s the same way. On Pinterest there’s rating things so you can leave comments if the recipe was awful etc. that to me helps a lot to look and see if others have said anything before trying the recipe.

I do have a Pinterest account, and I am the same - I would be inspired to pin and save projects or recipes, telling myself that I will do it. Then chances are I'll forget about it. I did make a recipe a couple of times from there, and that's all I can remember. I do keep my account because it can be handy now and then. For instance, I was able to show my husband the kind of planter box that I want through Pinterest.

I find that most of the things i am interested in take some kind of special ingredient or material that are kind of hard to find at least around here.

I love Pinterest I go there daily to just look at the site . They have a lot of good stuff on there

I like Pinterest. Even though it's annoying. They have tons of stuff, much like Flickr which I also like, too but it's much slower. Just about anything you can think of is there. I don't look at the craft stuff at all because that's just not my thing.

Yeah, not a lot of men are into crafts per se, unless you count something like woodworking, or like metal works or something. That show forged in fire is all about that kind of stuff.

@xander6464 I only saw it once, but alot of shows are like that, there are a few minutes of realness and the rest is something designed to get ratings.

@snowy22315 I don't even like Forged In Fire. It gets a tiny bit interesting and then there's 20 minutes of forced fake drama.

I've only used it to add a photo to the posts I have on My Lot. It does seem to be a very useful site.
