You can use

or many other things within a conversation. Personally I don't see a need for anything more than a like button outside the conversation

There used to be a voting option to give posts a score from 0 to 5 I think, on old mylot. I don't miss it, 'cause it was constantly abused.

@Torunn Right. You start doing something like a 'rating,' and posts are rated up or down not because of the quality of the CONTENT, but on whether or not someone AGREES with the content. This is unfair to the poster.

@porwest What happened was that people rated posts down based on who posted it, because they had disagreed with a previous post by the same person. It didn't have much to do with the content.

This site has been for several years helping senior citizens and other in a penny they could get and nothing has complained on what to improve. They are happy and satisfied with this present platform. I remember that there were newbies who had suggested some based on what they had experienced from other sites they're working with. But it didn't get through. What else we want when we are paid on time?

If they choose to maintained what they designed for, its all their power and authority because they own this site. But isn't it exciting to see additional feature, you may not agree but it all depends on them and I am not demanding for it.
