What a wedding! What a dress!

We came home today after attending the wedding of our great-niece. We went to Perth, Western Australia, on Friday and stayed with our niece’s grandparents, who are actually Vince’s brother and his wife. On the day of the wedding, we were able to help with a few tasks, including taking an electrical piano out to a clearing in a pine forest where the ceremony was held. The wedding went off very well. The weather wasn’t as hot as it had been for which we were all thankful. Vince took a few snaps at the reception including this one of the bride showing off her beautiful dress. She spun around for Vince so he could take this photo. Her new sister-in-law had made the dress for her. All in all, it was a lovely, happy occasion and now we’re home again.

@JudyEv You know Meghan Markle wore a slinky dress to marry Prince Harry and suddenly that kind of dress became popular... people are not always smart.

What a beautiful bride and a beautiful dress! It sounds like she had a wonderful wedding, and the smile on her face says it all. I like the idea of having an outdoor wedding.
