Was reading a post just now by @MarshaMusselman about a collage of flowers she posted.
I instantly recognized the Dusty Miller plant. It has soft velvety leaves that are so pretty. I bought them for the first time a few years ago, mainly because of the name being so close to my son, Dustin's name.
To my surprise they bloomed bright yellow blooms. I was so surprised to see these blooms. They lit up my garden that year. I need to get more this spring to plant.
Snapped this photo a couple of years ago when the plant was in full bloom.

What a gorgeous, cheerful flower! I can see how they would make you smile every time you looked outside.

@CarolDM I hope you will be able to find some this year so you can plant them again.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Me too, with many shortages, not sure how plants and flowers will be.

Those blooms are gorgeous. They weren't that pretty for me but maybe I didn't let them bloom very long I don't recall.

@CarolDM I'm not sure by name, but by appearance I'm almost sure we have these flowers, I don't have them in the garden. I could also plant some brightly colored flowers this spring

A perfect picture for me this morning. Its nice to see pretty flowers and remember that spring will be here before we know it. Right now we're buried in snow
