Crock Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup

A friend shared a recipe with me awhile back. I made it today for the first time. It smells really good. And there will be plenty of leftovers.
Cooked this tortilla soup in the crock pot. Added shredded chicken, seasonings, black beans, chicken broth, salsa, diced tomatoes, and tortillas. After it is done I added shredded cheese, a few green onions, sour cream, and parsley.
What I like about this soup is you can add whatever ingredients you like. I don't care for green chilies, so I left those out. And the same with the topping. Whatever you like. I highly recommend this one.

We both had foods inspired by south of the border cuisines.
I had keto taco soup. Your soup sounds delicious.

@CarolDM It's so easy to make too. Ground beef, onion and garlic browned together then add cream cheese, rotel tomatoes, bell peppers and let the cream cheese melt, add beef broth (I add bone broth) and let it simmer until all combined.

I've made something like this before but in my stovetop..I don't like using my Crock-Pot much, but your soup looks great.

@CarolDM now that I have the insta pot I like using that more. It doesn't take up as much space. Maybe one day I'll get back into using my Crock-Pot again.

Sounds like an interesting recipe. Mine would probably just be chicken, cheese, broth and tortillas...oh and sour cream!
