Yesterday was my favorite day of winter. We got snow. This time we weren't left out of the forecast.
We got six inches of lovely, beautiful snow. It started snowing around 10:30 yesterday morning and was still snowing when I got up at 3. At least that's what the map showed. I couldn't see it with it being dark outside at that hour.
I took the above picture just after sunrise. You can see the pink tinge in the clouds. And just look at all that lovely snow. 
With this much snow, the plows will be here this morning. So, I will need to move the car for a few hours so they can plow the parking lot. I have some shopping I need/want to do. And then I'll head over to my son's. I hope his parking lot will be plowed. I know there's a truck there that has a plow attachment, so I expect it will be.
It's time now to eat breakfast. I have the notifications finished. I'll be back later. How is your day going? What's your weather like? Thanks for reading.

We are in summer now and I´m completely happy with the sun. Beautiful picture. It looks like a postcard.

I was sleeping like a hibernating bear last night, listening to the wind whipping through the trees:) We got a snow storm, probably about four-five inches. By the time I left the house this morning, Jay had already swept the two vehicles off. He's looking for things to do!

I'm glad you finally got the snow you've been waiting for....enjoy!!!!
We got another few inches this morning and more coming on Sunday. I wish I could get as excited as you about snow. It's pretty but not any fun for me.

Thank you. I am enjoying it. Not as I did when I was a kid, but watching it out the window is fun. It wasn't too bad getting the car scraped. I dressed warmly knowing how cold it is outside.

That's a lot of snow. Glad you got your snow though. I agree that it can look pretty...but its cold and can be scary to drive in!

@just4him Yes, some people don't care and drive as normal. The snowy/slick roads are hazardous enough....but they make it so much worse

We had three to four inches last night. It was still snowing when I was outside earlier but it's since quit.
If a tenant at your son's place has a plow he might do other places not necessarily where he's living but let's hope it's plowed. You don't need to get stuck.

He's not a tenant that I'm aware of. I think it's the landlord who has the truck there. I saw him out plowing the parking lot when I was ready to leave. He had done most of it except where the cars were parked, obviously. I'm sure he took advantage of my leaving to get the remaining snow off the parking space.

Yes, it should. It's going to be cold for quite a while. I am enjoying it.
