Sharing a photo of my mums from a few years ago. I keep them in a pot on the front porch in the fall. Hoping this photo will brighten up your evening.
As I was typing this post I noticed sleet has started here now. Suppose to sleet all night. Then the snow will arrive tomorrow. Hoping the power stays on.

Yellow come out first then the other colors over time. I've never seen true red ones before. Rust is the closest I've had and pink maybe.

We didn't get any sleet and it will be too cold for sleet anyway but sometime this morning were supposed to get 1-3 inches unless that's all day long.
Your mum's are pretty. I usually plant mine in the ground but maybe I'll keep a few pieces out of each color to make into one or for my winter blahs.

Great! We're heading for a stormy time that's getting lighter for winds to head it off happened and keeping most nasty things to south if island in whew, what a relief. Sunny days expected from Monday. Take care and I'll do the same.
