Yes, we have a granddaughter and grandson and two granddoggies. We are blessed and in love with them all.
A new addition to the family has arrived. It’s a bearded dragon. His name is Yogi.
On our drive back to Vermont on Sunday, we spoke to our grandson from our SUV, and he from his daddy’s new SUV. He won his hockey game and was on the way to pick up his birthday present from dad.
Dad wasn’t too happy about this gift, but the rest of the family is. Yogi now has over 250 followers on TikTok.
We are trying very hard to love our new addition to the family.

@Tina30219 I saw my granddaughter feeding it. First she filled his huge dish with some water, added fresh greens to it, some pellets, live crickets, and something that looked like live grubs to me. Ewwww!

@DianneN they can get anywhere from 18inches to 22 inches maybe a little smaller or bigger. Ours is probably about 15 inches.

@ShyBear88 Thank you and thanks for sharing. I think Flame and Yogi would love to get together for a play date! He is very handsome.

@DianneN I had the opportunity to hold a bearded dragon in my hand ... but I would never take it as a pet, I'm not a fan of reptiles
p.s
Pay attention to his leg, keeping me from falling

@DianneN Well, yes, that's how it looks in the photo, I literally didn't breathe so I wouldn't scare him, because then his chin swells and changes color ... he can stare at me
and it was only about 20 seconds

@LowRiderX 20 seconds would be too long for me.
I hope my grandson doesn't make me hold it. I will if I have to, but prefer not to. Maybe I can give it a pet on the head and run away.

Keep them warm.
They like a cuddle

Congratulations and hello to Yogi
! We are still thinking about whether to get my son a reptilian roommate or not . . . it would easily "somehow" get lost in his room . . . just like any of his missing pieces to things or socks
. Enjoy your new granddragon!
