Remind you of anyone?

How many of you ever saw The Cosby Show? Of course, this was years before we knew what Billy Cosby did, but at the time it was the number one sitcom in the United States. The actress Phylicia Rashad played the wife and mother on the show. She always reminded me of my mother. The character was a lawyer, and my mom worked at a bank at the time, but they both wore suits, and had the same hairstyle. She was smart, and best friends with her husband. She was classy as well. So I've always been partial to that character. Does anyone you ever saw on TV remind you of a real life person?

I had a friend who reminded me of the Denise character in The Cosby Show - played by Lisa Bonet. She was an artsy dresser like Denise, kinda rebellious, and just did her own thing.

I didn't see the show too often but quite enjoyed it when I did. I can't think of anyone offhand that reminds of someone 'real'.

I don't recall anyone that I have known that fits that description right off. Not say there weren't any though. I do remember quite well watching that show. I used to like it a lot.

I remember watching that show but it seemed a little out of reality for me. I cannot say as though I really relate to any show that I have seen on television or even any movies.

Interesting! I didn't watch regularly - but now I want to know more about the wife character. That is sweet. Thank you for sharing. To a certain point all of the "Bob's Burgers" characters remind me of people I know, or at least, certain traits, maybe that's why the writers did it though, because relatable characters make the show popular maybe
