It is Still Friday No Matter What!

Hi friends! We are still on vacation in my son’s in-law addition to his beautiful ski chalet in the mountains of Vermont.
We are so sore from skiing, snowshoeing, and walking around the adorable upscale town in Stowe, Vermont. I only wish I felt comfortable enough to shop in the gorgeous boutiques, but we are playing it safe.
It’s Friday, my favorite day, so hubs made me a martini from the loaded bar in our little home away from home. I made some appetizers in our adorable kitchen.
Hubs should be home soon with dinner. We ordered from one of the many terrific restaurants in our little town. We decided to try their fish tacos and shrimp tacos along with several sides.
We will definitely return to our home in Connecticut next week. When? Not sure. Our son specified that we can stay here as long as we want. I do have an appointment for my first covid vaccine and don’t want to miss that!

Don’t worry about notifications enjoy your time being away and enjoy your date night. It is just me right now my man went ice fishing. Glad you are enjoying your time.

I don't carry my phone out in the snow. It's too precious to me, but I do have a ton of photos of my son's place. Unfortunately, he didn't give me permission to use them on myLot. When we return, I will let him decide what I can show if anything.

Enjoy vacation! I'm happy you're having fun. I don't like being cold and wet, otherwise skiing, etc sound fun.

@DianneN Hm, That does make sense. If you're active you probably would keep plenty warm ... I'm happy you're having fun with it.
Oh yes. Great news, momma get her 1st shot yesterday. I'm relieved and so happy for her

We are as safe here as we would be if we had stayed home. We are staying in an in-law addition to our younger son's ski chalet. It's isolated on a mountain without a soul in sight and oodles of land just for us. Our son isn't with us. Should return home sometime next week unless I break something skiing.

Thanks and you are right! It's safe here and gorgeous! We've been skiing and snowshoeing every day. I'll bet you never thought that you'd hear me say that I enjoy snow so much!
